The primary responsibility of the Sr. Manager, Distribution is to develop and manage business relationships across a series of stakeholders within Specialty Distributors, Specialty Pharmacies, Clinics, and their subsidiaries. Through these business relationships, the incumbent will lead the account management efforts to maximize the flow of our Company products into the different channels and bring resources and solutions to customers that will contribute to better health outcomes for patients. Initially the focus will be on ORS. The incumbent works cross-functionally with employees from Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Patient Access, and Corporate Account teams, as well as other areas across our company to ensure product access and availability to down-stream customers and their patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic business planning and account management initiatives across a variety of Trade stakeholders, like Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, Clinics, and their respective subsidiaries.
  • Execute, and implement distribution Service Agreements, Product Purchase Agreements, and other contracts.
  • Analyze and monitor individual account performance against strategic, financial, and product access KPI’s
  • Identify and pursue mutual opportunities with customers to improve patient health outcomes; lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic meetings at industry conferences
  • Communicate and implement stocking incentives for new drug launches to ensure product access to downstream customers
  • Be a primary source for external inquiries, triaging, monitoring and guiding customers in the return goods process
  • Lead communication activities and provide feedback to home office leadership
  • Providing input to market access marketing and help in the development of the pieces
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and MTPA policies, including but not limited to Pharma code and OIG regulations and all applicable SOPs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Masters preferred
  • Must have 5-7plus years within the pharmaceutical industry, of which 5 years’ experience in Distribution, Account Management or Reimbursement services.
  • Extensive knowledge of specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, and/or clinic operations
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including the business model, customer segmentation, and product portfolio
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, and execute business plans
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in using technical solutions to optimize customer relationships and data analysis (excel, CRMs, etc)
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships across both, internal MTPA colleagues and customer relationships
  • Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in business needs and demonstrate pull through across customer workstreams
  • Strong ability to listen, triage, monitor, and guide customers through the different aspects of the access workstreams
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time

The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $179,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.

This position is eligible to participate in our annual Short-Term Incentive (STI) program. Specific information about the plan including eligibility rules and target, will be furnished upon hire.
